WANTED: Edgar Arteaga Coria in Connection with Point Arena Murder – Considered Armed and Dangerous

In a recent advisory, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has named Edgar Arteaga Coria, a 44-year-old male from Gualala, CA, as a wanted individual in connection with a homicide in Point Arena. The incident began with a reported assault at a local bar on September 24, 2023. The victim, Jesus Joel Romero, was later found deceased on Ten Mile Cut Off Road. Coria, described with brown eyes, black hair, and distinctive neck tattoos, is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities urge the public to exercise caution and report any information to the MCSO Dispatch Center.
