A Day of Cultural Celebration, Fun, and Community Engagement
The Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians is set to host their much-anticipated “Big Time” event on Saturday, July 1st, from 11 AM to 6 PM. The event promises a day filled with cultural performances, community engagement, and family-friendly activities.
Taking place at the Coyote Valley Gymnasium & Park, located at 7751 N. State Street, Redwood Valley, the event will feature a vibrant display of Pomo dancers, adding a touch of cultural richness to the day’s proceedings.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of food trucks offering delicious fare, while children can enjoy jumpers and a waterslide. A stick game tournament will add a competitive edge to the day’s activities, and attendees can also explore a range of community outreach booths.
In addition to these attractions, the event will offer free BBQ lunch, exclusive event t-shirts, and an array of Native vendors showcasing their products. Raffles will add an element of surprise and excitement, and face painting will be available for those looking to add a splash of color to their day.
