Point Arena, July 26, 2023 – A structure fire has been reported in Point Arena, specifically within the 24000 block of Windy Hollow Road.
At 7:45 pm, a large column of smoke was observed rising from the affected site.
By 7:58 pm, the structure was fully involved with the fire, posing a threat to a neighboring structure. The urgency of the situation led to a prompt request to reinforce the initial response.
Additionally, by 7:54 pm, a transport was en route, and a second alarm for Zone 3 was triggered, prompting additional water tankers to respond.
As emergency crews work to contain and control the blaze, the public is advised to avoid the area.
