Potter Valley, Ca – A small wildfire ignited near the 9600 Block of East Road (North of Burris Lane) in Potter Valley, The East Fire spread to about 3 acres, prompting a response from firefighting crews to contain the blaze. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and investigators will work diligently to ascertain the origins of the blaze to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Local fire departments, including personnel from Potter Valley Fire Department and assistance from Cal Fire, swiftly mobilized resources to combat the wildfire.

The hard work and dedication of the firefighting teams paid off as they successfully contained the wildfire. As of 6:00 PM, the fire has been reported to be 100% contained at approximately 3 acres.
