7:31 PM: Copter 101 Released, Returning to Howard forest. Air attack 110 Released also, Returning back to Ukiah.

7:28 PM: Air attack 110 overhead another 5 minutes.

7:24 PM: Tanker 91 Released loaded, back to Ukiah. ETA 7:35 PM

7:13 PM: Copter 101 made a drop on the head (Knocked it down) Forward progress stopped on head of fire. Cancel Tanker 90 on base Ukiah. Keep Tanker 91 Coming.

7:07 PM: Retardant against head of fire has slowed the fire down. The fire is looking better. Dozers will park along the highway with other resources and walk in. Access is to the north of Creekside Cabins & RV Resort.


ORIGINAL STORY

Willits, Ca – A wildfire (Dubbed the “Ryan Fire”) has erupted near Willits, California, the fire started off the 30100 Block of Ryan Creek Road. The fire started shortly after 6:50 PM. Prompting an immediate “Full Wildland Dispatch” From authorities. Air Attack is on scene and reports The fire has already consumed approximately 3 acres of grass/Oak Woodland, is steadily advancing uphill due to slight wind conditions.

Air Attack has confirmed that one structure is currently under threat, located approximately half a mile ahead of the fire’s current position. All efforts are being made to protect this structure and prevent any potential loss.
