ORIGINAL STORY

Covelo, Ca – A trailer fire that ignited around 1:10 PM has spread to surrounding vegetation off of Airport Road in Covelo, California. Emergency services and firefighting units were dispatched to the scene immediately after the incident was reported. As of the latest update, units at the site have reported approximately 1 1/2 acres of land affected, with the fire exhibiting a slow to moderate rate of spread.

Air support has been deployed to assist ground crews in controlling the blaze. “Air Attack 110” was quickly dispatched and is currently conducting aerial assessments of the fire’s behavior. Additionally, two tanker aircraft, identified as “Tanker 90” and “Tanker 91,” have joined the operation.

Authorities have confirmed that no structures are currently threatened by the fire. However, Early on reports indicate that there was a Structure threatened, but since has been mitigated.
