California Highway Patrol Report: This morning’s scanner activity from the California Highway Patrol highlighted two separate incidents that occurred early today.
From 6:08 AM to 7:14 AM | An unidentified vehicle was reported to have skidded off the eastbound road near Boonville, resulting in a crash down an embankment and into a creek. Initial reports indicated a possible ambulance dispatch, but it was later clarified to be a minor injury incident. The individual involved in the accident reportedly suffered a head injury and was privately transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The vehicle, found overturned in the creek and not visible from the roadway, was deemed abandoned. Local authorities arrived on the scene at 8:11 AM, and All In One towing service removed the vehicle at 8:18 AM.
From 7:17 AM to 7:38 AM | Scanner traffic reported a pickup truck that had overturned, causing a traffic hazard. The vehicle had reportedly rolled over several times before being found abandoned. Upon the arrival of the CHP at 7:19 AM, a tow truck was requested. The vehicle was promptly towed away by Willits Tire at 7:38 AM.
